About Sponsor a School“Hi, my name is Jade, I am 12 years old. One of my biggest dreams is to become a beauty culturist, also known as a stylist. In my free time I enjoy painting pictures, reading and writing.
In my community, there are many threats. Many parents leave their children alone while they work. There are also issues related to drug and alcohol sales, affecting young people.
My dream for my community is to improve the lives of young people and for parents to be more involved in their children’s lives. I envision a larger school, with soccer and basketball sports teams, music workshops, a swimming pool to learn how to swim, fans to cool down the classrooms, dance classes and an IT lab.”

My community faces major challenges, such as the absence of parents due to their jobs, leaving children in the care of their older siblings or grandparents. I wish drugs weren’t available to young people and that parents could accompany them in their activities to prevent negative influences.
I would love to see my school more colorful, clean and tidy, with better desks. It would be great to have a PE teacher and workshops for soccer, English, computers, and art. Also, I would like fans in the classrooms to reduce the heat and help us concentrate better during classes.”

Our students stand out for their constant desire to improve. They aspire not only to excel for their own benefit, but also to get their families out of difficult situations. They demonstrate this drive through their effort in class.
The school serves as the community’s refuge, a source of comfort. It provides protection, help and comfort to both students and parents. It is a safe place where students can learn and grow in their skills while enjoying their school time. As I look around the classrooms, my greatest wish is to see each student achieve their individual goals and dreams.
This is made possible by the love and dedication of our teachers, some of whom contribute their own money to purchase materials needed for student activities. I am grateful for their donations and their willingness to support the students’ dreams and aspirations. Additionally, I value the teachers’ contributions in sharing their knowledge, as parents sometimes need guidance on handling various situations that affect our students.”
—Teacher, Carmen
