“I am Nahiara, a 10-year-old girl with big dreams for my community. I dream of having an amazing job someday. During my free time, I like playing games, and sometimes I have fun on social media.
In our community, we face big challenges: crime, littering by children, and a high number of people and dogs on the streets. My dream is to form a group dedicated to cleaning up the streets and providing food to those in need, with the goal of reducing theft and improving the stigmatization we face.
Regarding the school, I would love to see it expand a bit, with more green spaces to make it an even nicer place.”

Mathias
“I’m Mathias. I’m 11 years old, and I dream of becoming an architect. During my free time, I like playing soccer or video games.
In our community, young people like me face difficult challenges like violence at home, economic struggles, and drugs. My dream is for all of us to have better opportunities to succeed in the future. In my neighborhood, opportunities are hard to come by.
I would love to see my school as a modern place, with a more positive environment between teachers and students. And no bullying. I hope for it to be a place where we can all learn and grow together.”

Our students grapple daily with learning crucial social skills like coexistence and conflict resolution—skills that aid them not only in school but also in their everyday lives.
I would characterize our school as an environment open to change, deeply committed to the community, and dedicated to creating a friendly and respectful atmosphere. We are continually striving for improvement. Despite limited resources, we are resolute in providing students with meaningful opportunities and a positive educational environment.
